The Go-2-Tender Programme aims to give SMEs across the island of Ireland the confidence, skills and knowledge to successfully compete for Public Sector tenders in their own jurisdiction and on a cross-border basis.

 

The Programme consists of 2 days' training by experienced bid specialists with up to 2½ days of tailored mentor support available to each participating company.

 

The next set of workshops (delivered across 2 days) will be in:

 

Location: Waterford

Venue: The Tower Hotel

Dates: 16th & 30th March

Cost: €100 per person (fee includes training, materials, catering and 2½ days of mentoring).

With its bottom-up approach, Eurostars supports the development of rapidly marketable innovative products, processes and services that help improve the daily lives of people around the world. 

 

Eurostars has been carefully developed to meet the specific needs of SMEs. It is an ideal first step in international cooperation, enabling small businesses to combine and share expertise and benefit from working beyond national borders.

 

Eurostars is a joint programme between EUREKA and the European Commission, co-funded from the national budgets of 36 Eurostars Participating States and Partner Countries and by the European Union through Horizon 2020. In the 2014-2020 period it has a total public budget of €1.14 billion.

 

The role of SMEs for the economy has never been so important. Eurostars aims to bring increased value to the economy, higher growth and more job opportunities.

 

Submission system open (Deadline 02 March 2017; 20h00 Brussels time)

Eurostars is continually improving the processes of application and submission in order to meet the needs of all of our stakeholders. The system is now open and registrants are invited to submit their application. Please complete your online application form, upload annexes, check the eligibility using the designated tool and finally submit your application.

The Connecting for Growth programme is designed to facilitate increased business between companies from Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland through a cross border networking event and two Meet the Buyer events.

 

The annual Connecting for Growth cross border networking event at Titanic Belfast on15 March 2017 provides attendees with the opportunity to:

 

  • Hear from our Keynote Speaker, John Hurley Head of B2B, Partner and Channel Marketing, DAA
  • Network with 180+ delegates across a range of sectors
  • Engage in structured networking sessions increasing cross border business opportunities
  • Hear from and obtain advice from a leading panel of experts that will assist you in developing your business
  • Find out who the buyers are and how to apply for a meeting at the upcoming Connecting for Growth Meet the Buyer Event
