Racing returns to the seaside venue for its traditional two day June bank holiday fixture.

Development work has continued in the enclosures since the last race meeting in April, with the electrification of the bookmaker ring along with the launch of the new Boylesports On Course Bookmaker shop.

A new online booking system in partnership with Future Ticketing is also now available and this new system allows the racecourse sell tickets directly through www.tramore-racecourse.com and to celebrate they are offering €5 discount for all online sales for Sat June 3rd.

The Waterford Senior Hurling team are visiting Tramore Races on Friday June 2nd as part of their Club Deise fundraiser in the build up to their Championship campaign. Speaking at the launch of the evening which was held at Pat Flynn's yard in Rathgormack Derek McGrath, Senior Hurling manager said "The fusion between the team involved in Tramore Racecourse with the committee of Club Deise, will ensure not alone a great evening's racing and entertainment, but will act as a vehicle and a catalyst to give us our best possible chance to prepare with diligence and professionalism."

Other sporting sponsors on the evening include Tramore Golf Club, Al Eile Stud and Waterford Technologies. Indigo Mood will entertain the racegoers from 4.30pm each evening and first of seven national hunt races is off at 5.40pm

Racing continues on Saturday June 3rd, another evening meeting called Craic at the Track, and McCarthy's Fuels and Builders Providers are sponsoring the feature race. Waterford Rose Chloe McGrath will be special guest on the evening and the craic will continue long into the evening with The Jam Tarts playing after the last race.
