Free iPad classes in Waterford libraries

Digitise the Nation

Digitise the Nation is coming to Ardkeen, Tramore and Waterford City libraries this November. We are going to teach 'how to get online' with iPads.

These classes have been sponsored by the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment in response to research showing that one in seven Irish adults have never used the internet.

The Getting Citizens Online programme is focused on supporting and empowering citizens to participate fully in Ireland digital society.

Each participant will receive 10 hours training over 5 days.

Our Waterford Training Schedule is:

  • Ardkeen library - Monday 6th to Friday 10th November - Class Times  11am to 1pm or 2pm to 4pm
  • Tramore library - Monday 13th to Friday 17th November - Class Times 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm
  • Waterford City library  Monday 27th November to Friday 1st December - Class Times 11am to 1pm or 2pm to 4pm
